Different jobs
These two apps are less alike than their categories suggest. CleanMyMac is a maintenance suite: it removes things. Its menu includes useful monitors for memory, CPU and battery, and it offers to free memory.
iKnowMyMac removes nothing. macOS deliberately uses spare memory for caching; Apple's own guidance is that unused memory doesn't make a Mac faster, and that memory pressure is the number to watch. iKnowMyMac shows pressure, swap and which apps grew, and ranks the causes. See memory pressure.
The one place iKnowMyMac touches files is reclaimable developer disk (DerivedData, node_modules, Docker images and similar). It shows the sizes, and anything you choose goes to the Trash so you can restore it.

Does iKnowMyMac clean my Mac?
No. It doesn't delete caches, “free up RAM” or run optimisation routines. It explains what is using your Mac. The only file action is moving reclaimable developer files to the Trash, after you confirm.
Should I use a memory cleaner?
Apple's Activity Monitor guide says unused memory doesn't improve performance, and macOS manages memory itself. Watch memory pressure and swap instead of free memory.
Can I use CleanMyMac and iKnowMyMac together?
Yes. They do different jobs and don't conflict.
